Two hundred process diagrams, one operating system
Problem
The group had documented its processes carefully—about 200 process diagrams—but nothing enforced them. Approvals depended on knowing whom to ask.
Constraint
The processes were correct. The system had to enforce how the business had already decided to work, not rewrite it. It also had to talk to the national tax e-invoicing platform and banks from inside the country.
What I built
The diagrams became 3 companies, 26 departments, 21 roles and 9 approval workflows (33 states). Finance rules are enforced, including three quotes above a threshold, cheque controls and escalation of payables. A secure relay reaches the national tax platform (first live connection September 2026). The legacy accounting package stays in sync.
